PROJECT OVERVIEW
FLATROCK training facility is located on over 300 acres in Adams County, Colorado, just minutes from Denver
International Airport. FLATROCK was created to support the annual training requirements of public safety personnel
as set forth by law, and it will alleviate the significant deficit of viable training facilities in the region.

The Design has been driven by short-term needs and
long-term goals. Collectively it has been determined that a two-phase design and cost approach be used. Phase One will consist of a firing range component, an emergency vehicle operations (EVOC) component and Scenario Village. Phase Two will include a central administration building complete with classrooms, a hazardous device disposal area, a posse
(mounted patrol) component, and a canine component.
